  • Made copper solutions and added them with E. Coli
  • Inserted D1 and D2 into a TOPO vector (D1- first stage of PCR of CFP, D2-second stage)
  • Performed a transformation of D1 and D2 and plated
  • Analyzed fluorescence using plate reader at 22 hours and 25 hours
  • Analyzed primer design using USER
  • Received an introductory lecture on modeling
  • Skype called the UVA and VCU team about their progress
