RESEARCH INTEREST



The Javid lab principal interest is in mycobacterial pathophysiology. Here are some of research interests:

1. 'Adaptive mistranslation'
2. Mycobacteria and host-pathogen interactions
3. Protein translation fidelity
4. GatCAB dependent tRNA synthesis and protein evolution

Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as post-doctoral scientists, interested in our work should contact Dr. Javid directly.
