June 2015: Junhao's visit to Harvard



We wish Junhao good luck for his 6 month visit to Harvard to perform advanced TB genetics!



March 2015: Welcome Swarnava Chaudhuri to the lab!



Swarnava is a new post-doc working on a Gates Foundation-funded project looking to speed up TB treatment.



November 2014: U.S. expedition: Melody and Caliburn.



We wish Melody well as she continues her post-doc on a Gates Foundation-funded project in Boston! And we wish Caliburn good luck in his visit to Wayne State University to study GatCAB biochemistry!



August 2014: Javid Lab awarded Gates Grand Challenges Explorations phase II grant.



This major grant from the Gates Foundation will fund work looking to modify TB's translational fidelity to speed up TB treatment. It is one of only two ever awarded to a Chinese university.



January 2014: Hongwei Flies to the Rainbow Nation



Today, Hongwei Su will leave for the Republic of South Africa where he will spend more than 6 months to study mistranslation in M. tuberculosis. Wish him the best luck!



January 2014: On target to unravel secrets of mycobacterial drug tolerance

2013 Tsinghua-Gates Mini Grant contest for students, Javid Lab, TRIUMPH!



In the final of the 2013 Tsinghua-Gates Mini Grant contest for students, two members of Javid Lab, Junhao Zhu and Jing Long, were awarded prizes. Congratulations, guys!
