'''Biography'''
After a strong disapproval from my parents to study Art and English in college, I developed a drive to study [http://www.bme.utexas.edu/index.cfm <font style="color:#000000"> Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin</font>]. I began my experience in research the first day of my freshman year in [http://www.engr.utexas.edu/aboutfacstaff/facbios/suggs.cfm <font style="color:#000000"> Suggs</font>] [http://openwetware.org/wiki/Suggs_Lab <font style="color:#000000"> lab</font>] in Cell and Tissue Engineering.
I then branched into other areas of biology, namely the emerging field of Synthetic Biology, when I worked with [http://openwetware.org/wiki/User:JTabor <font style="color:#000000"> Jeff Tabor</font>] in [http://openwetware.org/wiki/Ellington_Lab <font style="color:#000000"> Ellington Lab</font>], which prepared me for Summer 2005 in Cambridge, MA where I particpated in the iGEM Competition on the [http://model.mit.edu/igem/index.php?title=Main_Page <font style="color:#000000"> MIT team</font>] under [http://openwetware.org/wiki/User:Endy <font style="color:#000000"> Drew Endy</font>].

After two years of experience with research in universities, I developed a strong desire to explore science (specifically sales and marketing) in industry. To satisfy this desire, I will co-op at [http://www.codondevices.com <font style="color:#000000">Codon Devices, Inc</font>], a start-up company located in Cambridge, MA pioneering the field of synthetic biology.
'''Classification''' 3rd-year undergraduate

With my passion of art re-emerging after two years of dormacy, I continually balance biomedical engineering with graphic art by designing logos, posters, illustrations, etc. in the science field --turning a hobby into a [http://www.jennytnguyen.com <font style="color:#000000">profession</font>].

'''Summer 2006 Plans''' Co-op at Codon, internship in Endy lab, synthetic bio with Natalie, design logo for UT BME department, launch fitness initiative at UT, teach group fitness classes at MIT, work with OWW, and babysitting. I am addicted to work.
'''Profile'''
Currently, I am working at [http://boston.bizjournals.com/boston/stories/2005/05/30/daily20.html Codon Devices, Inc.] in Cambridge, MA for the summer 2006 through the fall 2006.

Currently, I am develping page designs and templates that make OWW more user-friendly. I will be collaborating with George Ahunov in improving the functionality of OWW and consistency and efficiency of submitting information. Please feel free to share your feedback in improving these systems to make OWW easier for you.

I also love barbeque. Specifically Kreuz Market bbq in Lockhart, TX.
