Sungjoon's poster abstract submitted to 2017 Liver Meeting was selected as a Presidential Poster of Distinction. This is an honor given to the top 10% of scored abstracts. Sungjoon's poster is entitled: Commensal gut microbiota modulates susceptibility to acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity. (Oct 2017)
Young received a R01 entitled "Molecular basis of altered drug metabolism during pregnancy" from NICHD. This is a translational research project in collaboration with clinicians at Northwestern University of researchers at University of Washington at Seattle. (August 2017)
Sungjoon Cho won 2nd place in podia competition at the 48th Pharmaceutics Graduate Student Research Meeting (PGSRM), hosted by the University of Michigan. Congratulations! (June 2017)
