- Design and fabrication of hybrid biopolymer actuator using self-organized cardiac cell
Design and fabrication of new concept hybrid biopolymer actuator using self-organized cardiac cell, which can be operated without external power source, such as electric, electromagnetic, pneumatic, and thermal origin. It is utilized for micropump, power generator, and micro-nano actuator for nanorobot.
- Design and fabrication of manipulation devices for biological cells using dielectrophoresis
Excellent experience in fabrication of microfluidic devices for manipulating biological cells. Good knowledge and experience in the theory of dielectrophoresis which is used to rotate, transport, and separate biological cells. Good simulation knowledge about FEM (CFDRC, ANSYS, FEMLab) for analysis of multi-physics in BioMEMS.
- Modeling, fabrication and performance evaluation of polypyrrole actuators
Modeling and measurement of the bending force in polyoyrrole actuators. Good Knowledge about polymer actuators.
- Modeling and control of a micro-nano robot
Design and fabrication of 3-DOF micro-mobile robot for micromanipulation. Experience in the theory of piezoelectric actuators.
- Design and control of a micromanipulation system
Design of a sensorized microgripper using FEM (ANSYS). Identification and adaptive control of the sensorized micro gripper.
