Building Living Machines From Biobricks - The Promise of Synthetic Biology



Welcome to our exhibit presented at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition

DNA is the code that instructs cells how to behave.

Bioengineers are now re-programming cells by rewriting their DNA with a library of standardized DNA parts (called BioBricks) in order to produce new drugs, bio-energy, bio-materials, bio-sensors etc...

Come and browse the catalogue of BioBricks, and learn how to combine them to build the next generation of bio-systems that will change our daily life.

Join us at the Royal Society between July 2nd and July 5th
