Try an ultra-low calory strategy for the persister assay. Also ''convert'' the percentages into calories and do some research into what bacteria usually need as calories. This goes in the vein of standardizing the growth assay / persister assay and the CFU counts!

Feedback on Guillaume's manuscript

Gave Guillaume feedback on his manuscript. Topic is combination therapy, very cool stuff.

Have to look more into it and see that we start mapping a converging path towards getting our strands of research together.

Idea for persister therapy

Since we observe reduced persister levels in low nutrient conditions, i.e. 0.2% glucose, what about having a low caloric diet coupled with persister therapy? Is that a clinically feasible strategy? No idea, talk to Mike Kohanski about it and get some feedback.

New experiment - ultra-low caloric diet

Try an ultra-low calory strategy for the persister assay. Also convert the percentages into calories and do some research into what bacteria usually need as calories. This goes in the vein of standardizing the growth assay / persister assay and the CFU counts!
