Research Interests
My research focuses on molecular population genetics of a variety of species. We are currently working on the genetics of salmon, marine copepods, Atlantic cod, and white sturgeon. In these projects, molecular genetics is used to evaluate genetic diversity and population structure. Depending on the context of the research, information gained is used to explore questions of biogeography or for applications in conservation and fishery management.
