The Kreeger lab utilizes experimental and computational techniques to examine how the endocrine system impacts diseases relevant to women's health:  breast/ovarian cancer, endometriosis, and the impact of estrogens on other normal and disease states.  The lab focuses on how cues such as estrogen impact the cellular signaling networks that regulate cell behavior. Understanding these cellular networks may lead to potential drug targets and rational development of combination therapies. Current projects include addressing the impact of estrogen in a co-culture model of endometriosis and examining a panel of natural and synthetic compounds that initiate estrogen signaling.
