Danillo Cunha de Almeida e Silva (Almeida-e-Silva, D. C.)Introduction | IntroduçãoPhD student in the Bioinformatics Program at the University of São Paulo (USP), MSc student in the Bioinformatics Program at the University of São Paulo (USP) and majored in Biological Sciences by Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto - USP. I have experience in Computer Science, which I have studied for two years and experience in the field of genetics, with emphasis on bioinformatics. I worked with "in silico" search for genes that express miRNAs. Moreover, I carried out research focusing on molecular biology of plants and organisms. I worked in bioinformatics related to sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) and bioenergy at LabPIB. Currently, my research in bioinformatics is related to Halobacterium salinarum's transcriptome.
