One of the things I  learned in Germany from Urs Jenal
*CB15 is ML78, which is derived from the ATCC
is that not all strains called CB15 are the  same.  In particular,  
he told me that the CB15 strain used by Austin Newton  and others
is different from the CB15 deposited in ATCC.  The major difference
is that CB15 from ATCC can be synchronized.  That strain is  ML78
in our collection...
