North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR)
Meterological data are downloaded as .h5 files from the NARR server to ebi-cluster:/home/scratch/dietze_lab/NARR
To extract data from these files for a single site enter the command:
cd /home/scratch/dietze_lab/NARR ./soi.sh name lat lon year0 yearf
where:
- name is the site name
- lat lon are the latitude and longitude in decimal degrees
- year0 and yearf are the start and end year for the data extraction
National Operational Model Archive & Distribution System (NOMADS)
Meterological forecast ensembles are downloaded from the [http://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/ NOMADS server to ebi-cluster:/home/scratch/dietze_lab/NOMADS.
