- Let seed dry on plant until siliques are completely brown (but before they split and drop all of their seed)
- Collect seed and place an alliquot in a 1.5ml screwcap eppondorf tube
- Create a database entry for your seed in the seed database
- Place eppendorf tube in dessicator
- Keep in dessicator for two weeks 'after' dessicator reaches 15% humidity
- Remove from dessicator and cap quickly
- Store at -20°C
- Let tube warm to room temperature before opening
