Dr. Sung joined our laboratory in February 2013. He received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Seoul National University (2010) and Université de Paris XI (2011). He then received postdoctoral training at the CNRS France (2012). His current research is focused on developing magnetic responsive biomaterials for controlled drug delivery and stem cell engineering.

Dr. Bing Yu joined lab in May 2013. He received postdoctoral training at the department of Orthopedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University (2009-2013). He is currently working in the collaborative project with Dr. Malcuit and Dr. Safadi and His current research is focused on understanding molecular and cellular mechanism by which macrophage polarization influences therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cell.

Hussain joined Kim lab in January 2019. He is currently in the Ph.D program in the school of Biomedical Sciences at Kent State University. He has B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory and MSc. in Biomedical Sciences- specialization in Medical & Molecular Immunology. The focus of his research is to develop nanotherapeutics for targeting macrophages towards the resolution of biofilm infections.

Hussain joined Kim lab in January 2019. He is currently in the Ph.D program in the school of Biomedical Sciences at Kent State University.
