Stock Solution
30 mg/ml of nalidixic acid in 300 mM NaOH. Use 1 ml/liter for a final concentration of 30 μg/ml
Resistance Mechanism
The gyrA96 mutation in E. coli allows replication in the presence of nalidixic acid.
