Packing the Column

• I purchased 210-250 micron sized soda glass beads from Polysciences.
• Column was Econo-Column 1.5 x 10 cm column from Bio-rad with associated flow-adaptor.

• Add glass beads to 10 ml of ethanol, until a slurry.
• Add to column using a glass tip, and

• Run buffer through syringe to purge flow adaptor of air bubbles.
• Twist lock ring to lock/unlock, and slide flow adaptor into column.
