This is what a PhD in Information Science looks like
The Open Doc Project is a growing, ongoing, daily struggle to keep an open notebook for my entire PhD work at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science. I hope to learn how to best conduct open research during this project, and advocate for colleagues to do the same. I am by no means saying that my way will always be the best way, but it's an honest account of my attempt be 100% transparent about my developing thoughts in this field.

Nothing here (unless otherwise noted) represents the thoughts, opinions or beliefs of anyone but myself. And on most days I don't even know what I think or believe about most of these subjects. Nothing here is a final draft unless otherwise noted. This entire site, and (most of) my life is under a Creative Commons 0 license meaning you can remix, reuse and do whatever you bloody well please with anything here.
