This is a wiki for the Endy and Knight Labs at MIT.  It is an effort to preserve information relevant to the labs, as well as to provide a forum for protocols to be optimized and shared by lab members.   
This wiki was made as an effort to preserve information relevant to involved labs, as well as to provide a forum for protocols to be optimized and shared by members.  Additionally, we hope that this forum will allow increased collaboration and at least awareness of what is happening in the various labs.   


We're trying to decide whether or not to make this wiki world-writable (it is currently only world-readable). If you have any strong feelings or thoughts on this matter, please let [mailto:endipedia-admin@mit.edu us] know.
If your lab is interested in participating, we'd be very interested in any help. Please let [mailto:endipedia-admin@mit.edu us] know.
 
Advantages:
*Provides easily accesible long term storage for lab protocols, strain lists, equipment manuals, etc. (helps reduce the information loss associated with the departure of a lab member)
*Allows lab members to easily share and troubleshoot protocols
*Excellent resource for new lab members (don't need to reinvent the wheel)
