The Payne Lab hosted lab tours as part of the Out to Innovate workshop held at Georgia Tech over the weekend of November 7-9, 2014.
Smartphone Microscope
Summer 2014- Joe Miles, a summer student from Georgia Perimeter College, and Srikant Iyer (pictured at left) constructed a Smartphone Microscope, an inexpensive and relatively easy-to-build setup that can be made at any lab or school!

February 28, 2012 - Steve was part of a multidisciplinary panel on Nanomedicine organized by the Georgia Tech Library. The panel was designed to give the Georgia Tech community an overview of recent advances in the field of nanomedicine.
