February 28, 2012 - Steve was part of a multidisciplinary panel on Nanomedicine at the Georgia Tech Library. The panel was designed to give undergraduates a basic idea of the different approaches to nanomedicine and the various benefits and problems of using nanotechnology in biological systems.

Summer, 2010 - Katelyn Snider, a senior at Roswell High School, assisted Chip Humphries with his LDL transport experiments. Katelyn labeled LDL with fluorophores, recorded emission spectra, and used fluorescent substrates to demonstrate drug-induced inhibition of enzymatic activity in cultured cells.
