Post Docs
| Saheli Sarkar Saheli earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and her M.S. from Drexel University. While at Case Western, Saheli worked in the group of Prof. Harihara Baskaran on the migration of cancer and stromal cells in microfabricated platforms. At Georgia Tech, Saheli is doing a joint post-doc with the Payne and Kemp labs, and will be studying the intracellular transport of proteins necessary for redox signaling. | Steven Hira Steve earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Florida State University. During his Ph.D., Steve worked under Prof. Geoffrey F. Strouse on imaging biomaterials for cellular delivery and developing biosensing devices. Currently, he is working on the intracellular synthesis of conducting polymer nanowires. |
Graduate Students
| Candace Fleischer Candace earned her M.S. and B.S. in Chemistry from Western Washington University. In the Payne Lab, she is studying nanoparticle-protein interactions. |
Undergraduate Students
| Hursh Sureka Hursh is a 3rd year Chemical Engineering major who is working on the biological synthesis of conducting polymers. | Joseph Kim Joseph is a 4th year Biochemistry major who is studying lysosomal transport. |
| Son Tran Son is a 2nd year ISyE major studying protein-nanoparticle interactions. | Rachel Candace law Rachel is a BME major and LINCR Fellow studying nanoparticle-neuron interactions. |
