Hi, my name is Ales and I am group leader in the [http://www.mpipz.mpg.de/10574/koornneef-dpt Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics] at the [http://www.mpipz.mpg.de/2169/en Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research] in Cologne, Germany.  My [[Pecinka Lab|Lab]] uses (mainly) plants to study mechanisms that influence genome structure and stability.
