Description

Penassay broth is a rich media typically used in the growth of Bacillus subtilis and related organisms.

Recipe

Per 1L of H2O:

  • Peptone: 10 g
  • Yeast Extract: 1.5 g
  • Beef Extract: 1.5 g
  • Sodium Chloride: 3.5 g
  • Glucose: 1.0 g
  • Potassium phosphate, dibasic: 3.68 g
  • Potassium phosphate, monobasic: 1.32 g

pH to 7, Store at 2-8 C
