Description
Penassay broth is a rich media typically used in the growth of Bacillus subtilis and related organisms.
Recipe
Per 1L of H2O:
- Peptone: 10 g
- Yeast Extract: 1.5 g
- Beef Extract: 1.5 g
- Sodium Chloride: 3.5 g
- Glucose: 1.0 g
- Potassium phosphate, dibasic: 3.68 g
- Potassium phosphate, monobasic: 1.32 g
pH to 7, Store at 2-8 C
