Projects: Design and conduct experiments to 1) evaluate the effect of biofilters on ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions from animal waste storage (ongoing), 2) develop a model for gaseous emssions from animal waste (ongoing), 3) derive an optimization model for the productivity of scaled down biodigesters (planned) and 4) test the effect of mixed feedstocks on bioethanol production (planned).  Schedule M-F: Monday 8-12, USDA and 12:30-4:30, Bioprocessing lab
