New page

We seek to use the tools of Synthetic Biology to rapidly design cells to produce molecules and valuable products on demand. We use novel strategies including a unique RNA-based scaffold to organize biochemical reactions, artificial organelles and an orthogonal set of riboregulators to control metabolic reactions. This project is done in collaboration with the groups of Peng Yin and Jim Collins.
