How to deal with 96-well plates after use.
Materials
- Bleach bath
- Aluminum Foil
Procedure
- After use, place 96-well plate in bleach bath in wash room ensuring all wells are submerged in the solution
- After technician washed them, lay them out sideways to air dry on top of bench ~1 day
- And put in drawer under Stephanie's bench
- When we're running low, wrap cleaned plates in 2-4 layers of Aluminum foil (make sure there aren't big holes)
- And autoclave on dry cycle
