  • When aliquoting media stock make sure to leave some empty volume in the tube (i.e., fill a 50-ml Falcon to only the 40-ml mark)
  • Each researcher should have their own aliquoted stock of media.
  • Take responsibility for aliquoting new stocks, when older stocks are almost used up. Make sure to use sterile technique in preparing aliquots.
