A brief background...

After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2001 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, I spent four years with DuPont Agriculture and Nutrition as a Senior Assistant Chemist working on pesticide discovery. In 2005, I returned to school to pursue a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Virginia. After joining the Kupfer lab in 2006, I transferred to Yale University in August 2007.
