Pakpoom Subsoontorn, Ph.D. (Stanford University)

I am a lecturer at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medical Science, Naresuan University. I am also a Deputy Director of Thailand Lower Northern Science Park, spearheading Entrepreneurial University program Naresuan University. Prior to that, I was a postdoc in Prof. Jim Haseloff's lab in the Department of Plant Science at University of Cambridge from 2015-2016, working on synthetic multicellular systems for PLASWIRES project. From 2009-2014, I did my M.S. and Ph.D. in Biological Engineering at Stanford University in Prof. Drew Endyl's lab and had my dissertation research on engineering genetically encoded recombinase circuits. From 2004-2008, I did my B.Sc. in Biology and Computer Science at California Institute of Technology.
