  • Heather A Piwowar 10:24, 27 July 2010 (EDT): A few ideas to make your results easily readable by others: Record something like "I ran *this code* and it gave me *these results*." Then when you change something and want to report that too you can say "Then I changed it to add the publisher variable and some other fixes. That code is *here* and the results are below."
    • where *this code* is a link or embed to the specific git revision, which you can get by clicking on the "revisions" on the right part of the gist page (please don't include the .git at the end)
    • and *these results* are a copy and paste of the results from the R code, probably with <pre></pre> around them so that the wiki formats them well
  • Heather A Piwowar 10:28, 27 July 2010 (EDT): Nic, one of the reasons for the suggestions above is that it is important to see the p-value results in context. So what was all of the output of the R code for the other variables etc.
