Northern and other directions of the compass

The joke of naming the RNA blot after the opposite compass direction as compared to the protein blot invented by Ed Southern is getting old. Also, for newbies its a very cryptic name. RNA blot immediately indicates the main molecule handled with this method. How about "RNA blot (Northern blot)" as a title? In this way both RNA blot and Northern blot would point to this page.
