I'll take the blame for propagating "chasses." Not to fly in the face of Noah Webster, but the use of chasses makes sense and would eliminate confusion. It's a living language! That said, I changed everything to the more conventional "chassis".

I agree; although the [http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=chasses ballet] interpretation seems apt. The non-standard plural was propagated from another SynERC page.  I have found and fixed a few more instances since your change, except ones I can't edit: [http://synberc.org/ UCB SynBERC]  [http://www.synberc.org/thrusts.html Thrusts]
