Overview

A kit for in vitro amplification of plasmid DNA for sequencing. It enables sequencing direct from a single colony thereby avoiding overnight cultures and minipreps. It is also useful for sequencing low copy plasmids which give poor yields from minipreps. This kit is based on the φ29 DNA polymerase and uses rolling circle amplification.
