The BioBricks Foundation welcomes gifts of stock and securities, which may also help a donor avoid capital gains tax on appreciated assets.  All such gifts are U.S. tax deductible to the full extent provided by the law.  In most cases, gifts of stock or securities can be completed through a simple transfer of assets between financial services firms.<br>
