Objective

  • To complete the procedure outlined by Dr.Hartings, HERE.
  • Synthesize HRP-Nanoparticles for future study.

Procedure

  • Specifically we made four different samples of HRP-AuNP's.
  • Samples were prepared as follows,
    • 30:1 (850ul of .25mM Au solution and 5.11ml of 8.33uM HRP) These were then diluted to 10 ml in volumetric flask.
    • 60:1 (850ul of .25mM Au solution and 2.56ml of 4.17uM HRP) These were then diluted to 10 ml in volumetric flask.
    • 90:1 (850ul of .25mM Au solution and 1.71ml of 2.78uM HRP) These were then diluted to 10 ml in volumetric flask.
    • 120:1 (850ul of .25mM Au solution and 1.28ml of 2.08uM HRP) These were then diluted to 10 ml in volumetric flask.
    • Please note that all samples were diluted to 10ml with water.
  • All samples were baked at 80 degrees Celsius for 3 hours in the oven.

Data

  • No data today, the nanoparticles will be analyzed on another day.
