In Situ cross-linking of polyvinyl alcohol films

Description

0.1g of polyvinyl alochol film (0.5 g in 6mL H2O) treated with gluteraldehyde was placed in a solution containing 100mL water, 2mL HCl, and 20g Na2SO4 @ 70 degrees celsius. This was treated with stirring for 1 hour.
