1) Centrifuge AuNP/PVP solution for 5 minutes at a time at 10,500 rpm 4 times.
 
2) remove supernatant and redisperse with 1mL of 10% NH<sub>3</sub> in ethanol
 
3) Combine redispersions into one container and at 50μL 10% TES in ethanol (5μL TES + 45μL ehtanol)
 
4) Stir for 12 hours
