ObjectiveCompleting film synthesis, starting new film synthesis, and making stock Malachite green solutions. Description
DataStock Solutions
The Making of Malachite Green Stock SolutionsWe prepared the 0.20 ppm and 0.50 ppm Malachite Green Stock Solutions. Melvin, Becky, and Eleni prepared the 1.1 ppm and 1.4 ppm Malachite Green Stock Solutions. Madeleine and Alicia prepared the 1.7 ppm and 2.0 ppm Malachite Green Stock Solutions. See Madeleine's 8/29 Page for their calculations. James, Jake, and Mary prepared the 8.0 ppm, 80.0 ppm, and 200.0 ppm Malachite Green Stock Solutions. See James's 8/29 Page for their calculations.
CalculationsOur calculations for the dilution of the stock solution to solutions 25 mL of 0.20 ppm and 0.50 ppm are as follows: Conc1*V1 = Conc2*V2
