Objectives

  • New Antimicrobial Testing
  • Calculations for New Film Synthesis using JD-230, instead of JD-400
  • Make Agar plates
    • use microwave, not oven

  • To analyze XRD data obtained on 20/02 for epoxy and epoxy and TiO2 films

Antimicrobial Testing

  • The cells dried on the film so we decided to redo the testing from last Friday with 1400 micro-liter, instead of 600 micro-liter
  • Place the petri dishes in a closed humid dark environment
  • Check on the cells on Friday

Calculations for New Film Synthesis Using JD-230

Amount used are

  • 2.13 g of JD-230
  • 6.46 g of Epoxy
  • 0.86 g of TiO2
