Preparing KCl, Mb, in pH7 Phosphate buffer solution AND New Ocean Optics Procedure

Today, 20 ml of KCl, Mb, and Phosphate buffer solution was prepared

  • We used 0.0025 mol of acid component (monobasic phosphate) and 0.0024 mol basic component (dibasic phosphate) and 500 ml of water, then used 20 ml of that
  • We added 5 mg of Mb and 500 mg of KCl
  • We then flash froze the solution in liquid nitrogen, and lyophilized it

Isopropanol

  • Scan every 10 seconds for 10 minutes 1ms integration time, average 1 scan
