Sketchup is Google's 3D modeling program. I've taken several optomechanics and made models of them in Sketchup. Most of the models are from Thorlabs but there are a few other companies' items as well. All models were done using their provided CAD drawings. While most optomechanics companies do have 3D models of their items, none of them have free 3D models. Since Sketchup is free, you can download the models I have made and use them for your optical designs.
