So I'm looking at the data I took and it would seem that I'm getting a higher speed for the motility assay with 10% D2O or 10% D depleted water. I'm not sure but I think it has something to do with the temperature.

In fact, I think that it definitely is due to temperature. My initial studies with the caseins was typically around 33.1C while the most recent study is showing an average temperature of 33.15C. The speed difference is consistently 10nm/s faster with the 0.05C temperature increase.
