Osley Lab 2

Today was a making chemical day. We made three solutions which I will provide below:

  1. /Spheroplasting Buffer (SB)
  2. /KOAc
  3. /Lyticase

I also moved a colony of yeast cells into a YPD liquid solution. It is inoculating somewhere right now. I need to get used to locations of things.

Storage

Lyticase is in the -80C freezer (in a pink box with AS on it). The SB is on the shelf above my bench. The KOAc is near the SB in a tube holder along with a bunch of Brandon's stuff.

Yeast

This is my blurry image of the yeast colonies. I will try and adjust it. Steve Koch:Cool!
