The plan is to digest this amount of plasmid. Run a gel and extract the large piece. As far as details go, above is my digestion setup. I will run a 1% gel until I determine there is enough separation. Then I will extract via Qiaquick Gel Extraction Kit.

Steve Koch 12:07, 3 November 2009 (EST): Maybe a 0.8% gel? That's what I used to usually use, unless I was looking at short fragments.
Anthony Salvagno 12:21, 3 November 2009 (EST):I guess. I just have it engrained in my head that I should do 1% cause that's what I always do. 0.8% will run faster though.
