I'm a PhD student working with bioinformaticians to explore the use and reuse of workflow technology for in silico experimentation. The [http://taverna.sf.net Taverna workbench] developed in the [http://www.mygrid.org.uk myGrid project] has been used for gene annotation pipelines, proteomics, microarray data annotation, systems biology. Some examples are given below. You can find some 200 workflows being shared at the [http://www.mygrid.org.uk/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=75&MMN_position=89:89 myExperiment.org workflow repository].
