I'm Dan, a senior in mathematics and physics at UT Austin. I aspire to do interesting work in the emerging field of systems biology, and would like to spend time as a graduate student studying functional genomics, synthetic biology, and physics-based approaches to understanding gene regulation and development. I am generally interested in science that will develop our understanding of and ability to design with the mechanisms of biological organization. On [http://www.ma.utexas.edu/~blick/ my web page] are some thoughts, a CV, and material from the statements of purpose I wrote while applying to graduate school.
