New Flow Cell and FEMM

I am spending the day between two different projects. The first is that I am setting up a flow cell to try to magnetically move the ferritin, and the second is learning how to use the FEMM package.

Flow Cell

Like I said I would on Friday, I created another flow cell with about 10uL of the stock ferritin solution. I then held it upside down (with tube racks) over the tip of the cone. With the cone touching the cover slip, I let it set for an hour and I saw no change. I think a small problem with this one is that the field lines of the magnet, run perpendicular to the direction of the flow cell, in essence cutting the smallest path through the solution.

I tried the flow cell again, this time putting the tip of the cone up against the side of the flow cell. This didn't work either.
