LCR Plate ResultsColony Counts: H20 (- control): no colonies MV10 (+ control): lawn LCR1: 1 mucoid colony LCR2: 2 fuzzy colonies LCR3: 2 mucoid colonies, 3 fuzzy colonies Daniel says that mucoid morphology is typical of DH5alpha containing inherent amp resistance. Fuzzier colony type most likely marks gradient of resistance. All 8 colonies from LCR plates were used to inoculate 4mL of LB+Amp for miniprepping. Four tubes were similarly inoculated from MV10 + control in order to obtain more plasmid for further experiments.
