The Daily Grind

  • Transformed a 0.25 ul per sample pool of 16S PCR from all the seeds into TOPO
  • Photographed and weighed nodal potatoes
  • Screened ACC deaminase clones for growth in ACC amended LGI but none had grown overnight - transfered previously selected hits to antibiotic selected media and grew overnight along with alsD clones for glycerol stock and plasmid extraction. Also doing PCR screen for the transgene.
  • Finsihed assigning species names to endophytes in 96 well plate formats
